  • Thanks, Mark. I agree, having owned several over several years. It is frustrating to hear all of the negative (and usually uneducated) comments coming from the peanut gallery when they have never even had any encounters with the little guys at all. But I'll agree, they can be stinky :).

  • Perhaps you weren't aware that ALL domestic ferrets sold as pets are neutered/spayed at 5 weeks of life, before being sold. This is to preserve their health: a female ferret in esterus will remain in heat until she is bred, and will become anemic and die if she has not found a partner.
